Made for the Electric Zine Jam, even though I primarily used Affinity Publisher, because zines, that's why.
a note on the imagery: all of them except for the winged shoe (which is my own) came from illustrations in 1960's-era Reader's Digest Condensed Books I collected over the years. This is so great, and so relatable. LOL "because misogyny" but also yes! When I go for walks, I feel the energy of other parts of our tiny town. They're all so much better than the energy of our house.
